Once Purchased How Long Is Wait For Car?

Featured Replies

do most dealerships have cars on stock in bkk?

for example you sign contracts and pay for a car, do you take it home right then, or do you have to wait a few days?

are there other factors that prohibit you from driving off that day... waiting for window tinting etc...

cheers

Usually you pay a booking deposit and then pay the rest in full when the car is delivered a couple of months later.

Make sure that it's exactly what you ordered before paying the balance.

wow really? waiting a couple months!?!

i thought you'd get it within days...

DEpends on what you are ordering. eg stock colour etc. if you are not really fussy about this just go in choose the car then ask what colours and specs they have. if you dont like them move on to the next dealer untill you find what you want. but usually it will be at least a day or so for them to prep the car, window tint, clean etc

Have fun and dont be in such a hurry, you got the car for a couple of years at least :o Allan

I think now you might be right as I guess there's a lot sitting around the manufacturers storage lots with the curent economic crisis but before they were more or less 'manufactured to order'. Both mine and the missus' cars we had a wait of 2 months to collect them last year.

I like the blue Toyota very much but the give me a very good deal on a silver one! So I am ok with it.

I like to have a good deal! The silver one is not my favorit but ok!

Yeap last new car I bought 18 months ago had to wait 7 weeks before the car was delivered...

We just ordered a Honda Jazz a couple of days ago and delivery will be in about 8 weeks. The dealer did have one in the showroom that we could have taken immediately but it wasn't the color we wanted so decided to wait. So it is possible to get a new car without the wait if you happen to like what they have avaiable.

Do you know if your Honda Jazz is being built in India,Japan or Thailand?

Similar story for me, bought a Honda Civic and that has taken just over 2 months to be delivered.
