Sorry Stoke.

Hello Pauly,,thanks for that.

Big game indeed and a big win for Sheff,,11 times its taken to get that result !

There is a really good chance that The club will go automatically now,,I cant see Charlton beating Birmingham today either.

Good end to this season is,nt it?

The photo of McCabe looks like spike Milligan (?)

Bet you've never seen McCabe & Spike Milligan in the same room ?? :o

I watched it on a Stream last nigthj, though the Blunts look alright to be honest & didn't realise you had the little Barnsley Cup Hero from last Year in your Team, lovely little Player..

Be amazed if you got automatic though, Birmingham look the part & Wolves are gone me thinks...

Reading's is just plain awful....

TP Reading have thrown so many points away it's as Chris Kamara would say "unbelievable", I think Wolves are up, but I can see Sheffield United sneaking past Birmingham.

SU have snuck up quietly and could well take 2nd spot.Am a wolves supporter and i dont think they are automatic 1 or 2.Loss to Brum in mid week was a disaster, leaky defense. But good luck to sheffield they've done well.

That was quite funny actually,,nice one. :o

Its on the cards now after Birmingham ,somehow, failed to win their game at Charlton. Not exactly "looking the part" eh?

Well they looked the part against Wolves last week & have done for most of the Season, not winning at Charlton though is definately dropped points..

We'll see at the end of the Season.. :D

With a Blade badge of course :D

Blimey, first time that I take a butchers at this forum for a loong time and I get two mentions and a PM. Cheers Sol.

Yes , the Hammers aren't doing too badly. But I only follow them now, I threw in the towel somewhat over Curbishley and the way football's gone in general. Still loath Chelsea with a passion though, so perhaps all's not lost. :o

I do think that you've obviously got a good chance of going up - and then going straight back down again. :D

Which will please 99% of West Ham fans. But not me too much because I've got a very reasonable mate who supports them. :D

Didn't take them long to put our money to good use then... icon_lol.gif

Surely you'll have to re name the Valad Stand " The Tevez Stand " ??? :o

http://www.leisureweek.co.uk/new_newsde ... N=79992209

Sh*ffield United Football Club (SUFC) has submitted its plans to redevelop the Bramall Lane stadium to the Sh*ffield City Council.

The plans divide the redevelopment of the ground into two phases, with phase one comprising the extension of the Frasers Property Kop to increase its capacity by more than 3,200 seats – resulting in the overall capacity increasing to 37,000.

A further planning application for phase two of the development is expected in the near future and it is understood that the proposals will include the extension of the Valad Stand and development of the car park, ultimately taking the potential capacity to above 40,000.

The development proposals also include the removal of columns from the Kop, a new undercover concourse with modern kiosks and toilet facilities, new executive boxes and disabled facilities in the Evolution Corner Stand, a media/business centre between the Valad Stand and Kop and additional community amenities.

A student residential block will be developed on the corner of Shoreham Street and John Street.

The proposals are intended to provide the club with the flexibility to increase the capacity of the ground, given its ambition to return to the Premier League and will enhance the ability to generate additional revenues which can be ploughed back into the first team.

Initial masterplans for the project were announced in 2007, but plans were put on hold as the club was relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2006-2007 season.

United chief executive, Jason Rockett, said: “We have been working on the masterplan for more than three years in order to provide a comprehensive medium to long term strategy for the expansion of the stadium and to continue to grow off field revenue streams.

“Given the complexity of any stadium development, it is important to be well prepared in order to be able to adapt to changing circumstances and not stagnate as a business. Any proposals obviously depend on success on the pitch which remains the club’s key focus."

:o And i suppose that W_anchor Warnock will also pop up :D

He threatened to sue us a couple of weeks ago too, he actually said, believe it or not, that he " would still be a Premiership Manager now if what happened hadn't happened ", how he could say that was guaranteed i will never know but that's Colin W*nker for you...

As soihok said, this has been done to death & a lot of it, from our side certainly but also the way SU have acted at times, has been really bad for the beautiful Game in my opinion..

All that sh*t aside, i do hope you come up this Year soihok, nailed on 6 Points for us next Year if you do.. :D

:D

Neil Neil Orange Peel Stand sounds better...(quoted from Ric...The Young Ones)

A Valad stand sounds like it belongs in a hospital :D

I,ve actually suffered immense mental stress and put on about 40 years in the space of 2 years because of this Tevez geezer,,do you think I,ve got chance of legal aid ?

I could do with a cash boost from a big London club also.

For your info.... I used to live in the same village as Neil Warnock. In fact I used to deliver his milk before going to school ,,he used to run an evening keep fit class for ladies in the village hall....My Mum used to go............... :o and before you start I aint Neils offspring ok.

Football wise...........well done Wolves,,,,good job.

I cant wait for Monday morning to see my Charlton supporting mate at work.......I think I might go in now and practice.

Unfortunately Brimington won which leaves The Blades with a lot of work to do.

Burnley on Monday wont be a walk in the park.

Cheers

Sheffield have the support base to take in some cash to do well in the top tier. Just about all the teams pushing for the top ( bar Swansea and sadly Burnley ) do. Tough end to the season. I for one am extremely glad the mighty Wolves will not take their chances in this years play-offs, best of luck to the poor sods that do.

Good luck to the Wolves, from a Stokie.

Khun Singh,hi mate, hope we can beat the Hammers soon but maybe we dont need many if any points now we beat Blackburn yesterday. We should have had a bet about Stoke being relegated lol.

You're not wrong Mate, & stayed up deservedly so...:o

Yes mate you,re right.

Also squeaky for fans of Burnley ,Swansea,Brimington and Reading....and thats a lot of bums squeaking.

Well, the loss last night to Burnley looks to have put our hopes of auto promotion out of reach.

Very dissapointing.

The game was also the first The Blades have lost away from home since October which is quite some feat.

The win puts Burnley into the play offs and amazingly drops Reading to sixth, albeit with a game in hand.

Blood and sand.
