Visa Run To Poipet

Featured Replies

It looks as though I am going to go to Poipet on Sunday for a Visa Run.

Is it possible to apply for a non-immigrant O or a 60 day Tourist Visa at Poipet. Or is the only option to re-enter Thailand and get another 30 days?

If I can apply for a longer visa, cany I do it on a Sunday, and if so where in Poipet..or is it just at the immigration checkpoint?

Finally, there is a casino tour bus which leaves Lumphini park at 5:30 AM on certain days. Has anyone taken this, and I took this tour, would I be able to get the proper work done to re-enter legally.

Basically, if anyone has done a Visa Run to Poipet, please give me some details and advice.

thks

You can only get visas from embassies.

You can re-enter Thailand if you have another visa, if not, when re-entering Thailand you will be stamped in for a 30 day stay.

Easy enough to do it yourself. Bus early morning from Morchit B/station. to Aran. cost 170 baht. Tuk tuk to border ( 1/2 mile) 40 baht.

Check out Thailand side on your left, cross over road & get visa for Cambodia. 1,000 baht ( one passport photo required.) Walk back to Thai side and get your 30 entry stamp for Thailand. Reverse transport to Thailand.

Or try these..VIP bus..
