Yesterday went to Chong Mek with girlfriend and family. I was happy that i could get a visa on arrival, was not that easy for first time theire. Officials were not very helpful, just waved finger in general direction. Next time i will have no worries. For the last 3 years have gone on organised visa runs from Pattaya and Bangkok, all done for you and good value for 2000bht with good buffet lunch provided. As i was the area of Chong mek, i managed to kill 2 birds with one stone, but thinking about it i probably shot myself in the foot as before told girlfriend had to go to Pattaya as easy to get 90 day stamp for passport. :o

I came in from Laos today through Chong Mek, no problems at all.
