my driving license expires on the 29th April. I am on a non B marriage visa. Do I need to get a letter from the British embassy for prof of address? Do I need to take my UK drivers license with me?

Pathum-Thani office wanted another (bl00dy expensive) letter from the embassy when I did mine last year

New health (are you alive) certificate.

No requirement for the UK licence on renewal.

No tests.

Obviously, as we are in Thailand, your office may have different ideas (probably best to ask).

The proof of address letter from your embassy might be the most expensive option.

You could get proof of address from immigration.

The transport office here in KKC also accepts a work permit for proof of address.
