Hit the spot..............

When the wheel turns, I am sure you will find happiness.

Goodbye stranger it's been nice

Hope you find your paradise

Tried to see your point of view

Hope your dreams will all come true

Feel no sorrow, feel no shame

Come tomorrow, feel no pain

Not from me, I'm sorry,

But my heart is with you

My thoughts are also with you, Seonai.

If your son has inherrited just a small element of your courage, attitude and sense of humour. You can rest assured, he'll turn out to be a good un. :)

I will keep a candle lit for you Seonai, as I hope the path to your next journey will be filled with light. You lived a life, and you are moving on. I also send love and strength to your son and loved ones.

For one moment, I cannot believe you will not make it to see our friends In July...................x

Just spoke to Seonai's mum again, she is still holding on but is no longer awake after the couple of hours of lucidity the night before last. She is on diazapan (valium) and morphine for the pain & her mum said it will probably be any day as she has not had food or drink for days (seonais living will request). :)

Apparentlt though, when people are talking in the room she will occasionally give a smirk so her mum beleives she is still "with it" enough to know whats being said.

I'll keep you updated

My thoughts are with Seonai.

My mother has just been transported to hospital with an infection on top of her emphysema.

The doctor in emergency there has asked me about rescucitation.

(whether they should attempt)

I know what her wishes are.

Thanks Boo.

I wonder if Seonai realises that the posts here are but the tip of the iceberg.

A lot of members just don't know what to say, including yours truly. :)

I wish her peace & no pain.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I hope it all works out for the best.

You just said a lot.

Actually, I'm quite happy to hear that Seonai still has her smirk. :)

I have a candle burning for her.

it is true...not sure what to say other than repeating myself that I admire your courage and humour that you showed until the end. But maybe that is what had to be said here...hope you move over to the other side smooth and without pain!

All the best

I hope that one day in the future, Seonai's son finds this thread.

He will then realise that many people, some who knew her, many who didn't, scattered throughout the globe were with his mother during her final years, months and days, wishing her only the best. Saddened by each and every turn for the worse, and heartened on the few but very special times when things seemed to be going better.

People may not always have posted, but rest assured that Seonai has been in all our thoughts and prayers.

Whatever happens next, I hope she finds the peace and tranquility she deserves

It's unfortunate to interpose this into a thread concerning Seonai's struggle, but I must mention my condolences to you, Handbags. My mother passed away under somewhat similar circumstances (double pneumonia, in her case) and three years on, I still have some very low moments from it. My sympathies to you.

Well said, slimdog. Very well said.

I can add no more except I hope she finds peace and that her son can remember his mother as the vibrant loving woman she is.

Yes, I thought later that this thread isn't about my problems and I wished I hadn't brought it up here. Apologies.

Thanks to those who sent best wishes, my mother made it through the night, but it is just a matter of time.

I wont continue discussion here.

Well, they are both mothers. I'm sure Seonai wouldn't mind.
