Hotel Baan Kaew-Ruen Kone (quite a name) Ph-045-643133/4 -- large rooms--a/c.limited sat tv. European shower room. clean.city center--400 Bt per night.

stayed there a while back--- very nice.

If you can stretch a litten more we stayed at the Phrom Phiman hotel back in January. The cheapest room at that time was 600bt. The room was alright with new bathroom, air con and satellite TV with limitred channels. Easy to walk from the train station. Hotel tel:045612677
