Going commando when wearing jeans is quite a common practice and one that I like to follow, at all other times boxers are definitely the best for ventilation and general comfort.

The only time I have been persuaded to break this habit was for a short period after having the snip - having witnessed a friend's agony due to ignoring the doctor's advice to don close fitting underwear I invested in some skimpy jockeys.

Mr Boater, what inspired this poll? . . . and why does it seem to have grabbed my interest so much?!? Back into therapy I go . . .
