Flash makes her face look flat.

Would suggest some side lighting for a bit more depth.

Back lighting for the hair.

to get that killer ring flash look you have to get in close, or the result is just flash. It also depends on the diameter of the ring, the smaller ones can't pull it off the same way.

I do agree with monkfish as well, but you can't have ringflash effect and depth at the same time. A background change could add depth.

The shot is clean, sharp, and balanced though. A good shot for the picture wall.
