Funny story, 10 years ago a friend of mine visited (the tall goodlooking type who had no problems with the ladies back home).

Strange, I don't feel like a champion ladyboy spotter. In this quiz it was difficult to judge height, hand size, pitch of voice, adam's apple, mannerisms, and presence of a penis from just looking at the photos.

Yep, 8/10 for me too.

Apart from the "elbow-bending" theory and, of course, instinct, perhaps one could employ the so-called 2D:4D test i.e the difference in length between a man's index finger and his ring finger. Most men have longer ring fingers than index fingers whilst women's are the same or shorter. The theory is that exposure to different amounts of testosterone in the womb can be determined, roughly, in this way.

However, I tend to suspect that it might not be that accurate when it comes to the more "committed" katoeys; those where Nature really does seem to have made a bit of a slip-up. But as for those who have chosen to be a katoey as a "lifestyle-choice", then I think we might reasonably expect to see a more masculine finger ratio.

Having said all the above, my own ring finger is about 3mm shorter than my index finger.

i was overly paranoid and picked a lot of the ladies as katoeys which screwed up my score. when i first came to thailand i had the same problem and was constantly accusing the girls as being a man at some point in their life.
