2-month pregnant woman killed after falling down from fifth floor

PATTAYA: -- A 2-month pregnant woman was fatally injured after she fell from the fifth floor of a building early Friday while trying to escape from police who busted a drug party.

Police raided a room on the fifth floor of a building on Soi Jom Thien 2 at 4 am following tip-off that some people were abusing drug inside.

The woman, identified only as Pao, ran towards the balcony at the back of the room.

Police said she jumped down. She died on her way to a hospital.

Police arrested two men - Bancherd Prasartya, 36 and Wichai Pachon 25 - inside the room.

Sad story on all counts, not least doing drugs when pregnant !! and then attempting gymnastics !!

I would expect all the supporters of The pregnant Lao drug mule to be out in force - claiming drugs had nothing to do with this death it was a user problem!!!! Sad story poor girl!!!

Yes, they'll be up in arms over the ruthless Thai police -- picking on the poor pregnant girl attending the drug party.

She might have been there in the capacity of DJ or joint roller or pipe lighter. Who knows?

But it all ended so badly for her and her fetus (technically a fetus is formed two months after conception, so might not have been a fetus yet).

Bad, bad policemen! How can they be so insensitive?
