I will be staying at the Centre Point Service Apartments at Saphan Taksin in a few months time and was hoping that a few members might be able to help me out with a query I have.

I have been looking on maps online and can't seem to find any courses or driving ranges in the area (understandable, given the price of land there.) I am not really familiar with his area and will not have a car. In your opinion, what would be the most accessible driving range to get too from the Saphan Taksin area? In addition, are there any courses nearby that you would reccomend (as in within 45 mins drive)? A bit of a long shot, but any floodlit courses within an hour or so?

Apologies if I come across as ignorant or naive here. Difficult to get your bearing when you dont know an area. Your help or advice on this would be very gratefully received.

Places to actually play. You are relatively close to the expressway, so you might try heading out to:

Green Valley

Lakewood

Muang Kaew

Summit Windmill

or

Royal Golf

There are a lot of other nice places too, but I don't think you would be disappointed by these in general, though the closer to town, the more crowded is often the rule.

Also, there may be some nice courses and ranges out in Thonburi, but I know nothing of the area. However, being close to the river, you are very close to that area as well.
