Any other differences between the 250 and 200cc Tigers other than displacement? Can the factory convert to 250cc, what's involved?

Hi there,

there is the following different between the boxer 200r & the boxer 250 rs

*Inverted Front Fork(Upside-down)

* Aluminium Swing-arm and Front Fork holder

* Rear Shock Absorber with Oil Reservoir

* ‘Tsukigi Racing’Stainless Muffler

this info as per Tiger Motor's description,

i am not sure if the 200cc can be converted to a 250 cc...maybe can...but whats the point really? A boxer 250rs costs 4000thb more than a 200r and for the things listed above i find this extra being paid well worth it.

hope that helps,

mbox

Thanks for that, and apologies for my name-confusion, MBOX!

I was not aware of all these goodies on the 250 RS versus the 200 cc Boxer. In the light of these upgrades, the 4,000 Baht more are the bargain of the century!

Chris

Powerband, the stroke is different. It's not just a bigger bore. this entails more parts.

Look at the list of improved parts on the 250 RS. The 4000 Baht more are a true bargain!

Cheers, MBOX!

So i will finally get to test ride a Boxer
