Only joshing you of course lads, would have liked to have seen you win but it wasn't to be. Not their best performance but there's always next season. Have I mentioned that Everton are at Wembley on Saturday, COYB.

Whatever the outcome, really hope that Everton play the way they have been playing. Great manager and great team spirit. Good luck for Saturday!

Can somebody explain why it is the manager that gets fired when the teams don't do well. To me it has more to do with the 11 overpaid, jumped up ball kickers than the manager. If I was paying somebody 100,000 pounds a week I would expect at least 2 goals every match or i would want to know why.

Well, JOse Mourinho will be making 200,000 a week - think about it. :)

Managers are usually quick to take the credit when things go well, so it's only right that they take the blame when things go wrong.

True, but much easier, quicker and cheaper to fire and replace one man than 11 or however many.

Thought that I'd just post these comments made by a Manc (or Surrey person ? ) on a Barca website. Fair play to him , and Ferguson.

Nothing wrong with celebrating your heart out and saying you were the better team. You absolutely were. But come on, quoting the Sun - dirty rag - in order to have a go at our manager? I listened to the interviews and he was very accepting of the result and admitted Barcelona were the better team. There was no theatrical behaviour from Fergie or any of the plyaers. We stood and watched you lift the trophy and gave you the respect you deserve.

Fergie may well have said that we could have done with Fletcher or Hargreaves in order to stifle your offensive threat but he hasn't made excuses for the fact you were simply magnificent on the night , and that for whatever reason, we didn't play to our full potential. He said you're better and he moved on, which he was quite right to do.

There is nobody less supportive of the English media than me. I've always said they're really a very low bunch and most United fans tend to think negatively of the media, as do most Liverpool fans. They're very London-centric (top four, imo. HH) and their attitude will always be to achieve the best sales results. As is the same for all media outlets. Unfortunately, United cannot take full responsibility for what gets written in the press. If we could, believe me, we'd stop all the Ronaldo stories for one thing.
