Not so long ago they enforced in on Cowboy with police patrols checking that all places had lights on and doors open at 1am. This will slip back to 2 or 2.30 as it has been for a while now. Not bitter..........but as a family man living and working in that area it is a nusisance and thats what I feel........OK I choose to stay there but hey it was a mere comment........Ever tried getting a Subway sandwhich on the way to work...impossible without being accosted by 20 or 30 ladies of the night........want a MacDonlds...the bench is full of prostitutes....the whole area is a cesspit with literally thousands of hookers... But I realize some people would live there to be reminded on a daily basis of their ownm "moral superiority." Then again, there would be the Carrie Nation Syndrome folks, those who like it and revel in it yet decry their disgust and horror at it to show others (and perhaps themselves) that they are not fascinated by the lifestyle. Around closing time it's like every few meter there's a few from Suk Soi 5 until Asoke. Never counted them but for sure 100+ I would guess.
