September 23, 200322 yr Does anyone know of a Thai - English - Thai dictionary that can be downloaded from the net? Ideally one that can translate both ways and as far as the Thai words, in both texts.
September 28, 200322 yr Don't know of a downloadable dictionary Trev, but can heartily recommend the Domnern Sathienpong Thai-English dictionary CDROM (Amarin publishing). Search in English and Thai script with excellent quality speech samples. I picked up a copy for 300฿ here in Thailand.
September 29, 200322 yr Good question Trev - I had trouble finding one in Bangkok and got mine from Surawong Book Centre in ChianMai. You could try contacting Amarin: Amarin Contact NB: If your using XP make sure you get the supported verision, else you'll need to get a patch.
September 29, 200322 yr I use an online Thai-English translator. It's a lot faster than flicking through a dictionary. Click on the link below.....I hope it works. Thai-English dictionary
September 29, 200322 yr Or the rather good dictionary here, or if you get stuck, ask someone here to translate for you.
December 9, 200322 yr right Mighty Mouse ... the best so far I use this one too, and my wife said, "it's ok, looks better that what I can do" a good thai-english online one ... but if you plan to translate english into thai, you better check it by some thai friends, for a final touch, and correct some little missinterpretations ... francois
