Will It Be Safe To Visit Central At Christmas

Hi Everybody

I have decided to take the long journey from Bangkok down to the beautiful city of Pattaya at Christmas need to have a few things done dental work , hemmoroid surgery etc and do a bit of sight seeing at the coconut bar.

I am booked into a restaurant for christmas dinner in the Central shopping Centre on Pattaya beach road but I have seen many conflicting reports about the building and that it is about to collapse.

Can anyone please confirm this or will it be repaired by christmas day.

I would keep well away from Central, certainly with all the snow at Christmas! Perhaps Pattaya will have its own ground zero by then, who knows? Not me!

i hate to laugh but the rumor that it is "about to collapse" is simply fantastic. and to contribute constructively to the OP, yes, it's incredibly safe, as far as anyone on planet earth knows.

please come, we need you here.

If we are to take the rumours of immanent collapse seriously, you won't even have a decision to make. The building will be long gone by Christmas.

It all depends. They only shoot tourists who are old and fat. If you are young and virile with lots of money you have nothing to worry about. :)

Booked into a restaurant? At a shopping mall? Could it be MOS BURGER?
