I've gathered all the info I could about the investment visa (not much), and still I have several doubts.

From what I know, there are 2 types of IV, one that takes an investment of 10 million bath and another that only needs 3 million. The first is valid to apply for a permanent residence, and the second I suppose is just for temporary residence, but for how long?. Could it be renovated and what does it take?.

One of the valid investments to obtain the IV is the purchase of thai government bonds. Do you know if it's a secure investment? Do they yield a good interest rate?. Is that income heavily taxed?.

Any additional info about the IV will be welcomed, specially if it comes from any of you that has applied for it. Thanks in advance.

You can just put 3 mil. in a bank or buy a condo for 3 mil. (about £42,000).
