Pattaya Anti-government Red Shirts Prepare For Possible Visit To Pattaya By The Prime Minister.

Featured Replies

Pattaya, July 28 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Tuesday Night, the closing ceremony for the Thai Chinese Business Forum is expected to take place at the Dusit Thani Resort in North Pattaya. There are rumours that the Thai Prime Minister Khun Abhisit will be in attendance. This rumour has prompted a major security operation by Region 2 Riot Police and Royal Thai Navy Personell who must be prepared if the Prime Minister turns up. The local anti-government red shirt group has also received information of the possible visit and will go the Dusit Thani Resort to voice their concerns to the Prime Minister over the riots at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort earlier this year. They claim that a group of neutral Blue Shirt Protesters attacked their group but were never investigated over the attack. The red shirts claim they are being treated unfairly. The Red Shirt’s told us they respect the Thai Chinese Business Forum and have no intention of disrupting the closing party, however if the Prime Minister arrives, they will ensure their voices are heard.

Not an anti-government red shirt group, but rather a pro-democracy red shirt group.

Thanks for the correction Wert! It is good to hear that the red shirts are now PRO GOVERNMENT and have decided to give that very decent brilliant man Abhisit, the Prime Minister of Thailand, a chance to govern without being hounded by violent red shirt thugs! Peace!
