Oh wow, is it 40 years? That makes me feel old! :)

I was at Monash and the Nott

I wasn't too far away from you that night njpski, I think I may have been in the "Rosstown" at Carnegie at that stage of my career, having just moved from Adelaide.

I was working night shift in a sawmill at a place called Mount Burr.

You always remember where you were when some world shaking event occurred....

In my case I remember the date as it was a couple of weeks after the moon walk. :)

If you look carefully, Paul is barefoot and out of step - I reckon Paul is dead and if you play the "secret" track backwards it says Paul is dead!

What do you guys think?

Has Paul made any good music lately? See, he must be dead

Doesn't it, though?? :)

I remember my sisters playing that album when I was a kid. I just loved the Beatles.

ps zzaa, you don't know this but I had 8 sisters, all older, and a huge range of music was played in my house.

Sweet Loretta Fat, she thought she was a cleaner, but she was a frying pan. :)

For all your Beatle trivia drones. Did you know that the production of 'Let it Be' {album, film, etc} was recorded before the real last recording session for the lads? During this fragile period....George Martin and the boys were undecided about Let it Be and shelved it {releasing it later, of course}. Infighting. The brilliant Sir George gathered them all and suggested that they do one final swan song. "Something different with all the quality you can muster"....so it was, they went to work and finished on of the best LPs know in popular music circles. And in the end......

...the Abbey Road picture was taken 7 days before Woodstock... August 15.

and Woodstock was 7 days before Charlie Mansons 'Family' butchered Sharon Tate & others.

My dad used to work in No1 Saville Row and I remember him coming home one night and saying there was an 'orrible row

coming from the roof of the Apple building. :)

Oh, how I wish I was there!!!

but I was only a little kid then.
