Late Nights

Featured Replies

One of those nights, Tossing and turning...can't sleep luckyly the local t'web cafe is open late for the red eyed online gamer crew. This is the latest I have been on here pretty quiet, How late do you stay? or are you an early bird? How many of you are getting earache for coming on a lot?

Is it different for Mods...Is the excuse that it's a job, albiet unpaid, accepted? or are you suffering constant moaning too?

Luckily I have internet access at work so Monday to friday I'm pretty much online from 7.30am till around 6pm, when I get home I sometimes log on for an hour or so to make sure all is well & being in the UK at the mo means that I can catch things other mods based in LOS can't (as they are asleep I should hope!) Weekend, I'm on early morning & again in the afternoon if I have no plans but I don't do late night in the UK as i have to be up early for work. Hubby never minds that I'm online here & never has an interest in anything thats going on, sometimes he's asked if he wants to come & meet a TV memebr & happily comes along (As we did with Brit Mav a couple of weeks ago :D ) but sees this as one of my hobbies & enjoys having the Tele to himself whilst I'm online :D Bloody boring stargate SG1 :o

5 a.m..

I'm still up.

My sleep clock's all messed up lately.

My wife often leaves for work and I still haven't shut an eye and usually fixing something around the house at 6 in the morning. :o

Oh well, I figure that I've beaten the farmers and local construction crews to it.

I am the early bird.

Go to sleep between 20.00 and 22.00 hr.

Wake up ( and I dont need a call) between 04.00 and 05.30.

This is going on for at least the last 25 years so I don't expect any change.

Lucky for me, the same patern for my wife! :o

I also normally wake up between 4 and 5 a.m. but I go to bed about midnight or 1 a.m. If I go to bed at 10 p.m. I'll be awake at 2 a.m.

This could be a prob. when I first move to LOS as I'll initially be staying in the family home where everyone goes to bed at around 9 p.m.

My wife could sleep for Thailand tho!

Rarely in bed later than 22:00. Usually up at 05:30/06:00. I'll need to make sure that I'm up at 05:30 tomorrow to catch the second qualifying at Melbourne!

I shall be going to bed shortly, same as most days. Then up at 4 or 5 PM to start the whole process over again.

Another day, another dollar.

Good night, I'm outta here.

I'm on the other side of the Pacific so I'm on at night here which means in Thai time I'm on from early morning to mid-late afternoon. Depends on how much work I have to do and if there's anything good on TV.

Weekends and slack weeks I'm home in the mornings and you get to see my charming self all evening. :o

In Thailand I was on in the evenings and I never got any hassle about it except once when francois and I were in a heated debate and I forgot to pick her up from work. :D Well, was 40min late anyways.

Thanks for the reminder - just watching the repeat qualifying now!

As for the OP - sure, the PC is my 'mia noi' but the g/f likes to watch Thai TV soaps, so I watch UBC and play with the mia noi in the computer room. Often leave it on all day and check what's going on periodically.

It's physically impossible for me to stay up late in my little mooban as the pooyai's speakers get me up early and I'm outa gas by 2200 max.

Bloody good first qualifying this morning. Ferrari at the back makes my day. So good, I'm going to watch the repeat in 1/2 hour. However...................

In Bangkok, of a weekday, I'm I usually head to bed 3am, wake up 9am.

Weekends, it's a complete lotto :o Just finishing my breakfast now...

Makes a lot of people's day :D:D:D - but it'll be good to watch them get through the pack rather than just zoom off into the distance :D

I normally sleep at around 4am everyday and get up around 12 ish.

OK, I do have exceptions. When visiting your place I also tend not to see the inside of the bedroom until the early hours!

Tough life, innit?

I agree, the best time of the day is 4am. The best time to get up. I used to be like you when I was younger(in my 20s) going to bed plastered every morning at around daylight. Had some great laughs back then getting the little green bus from Sukhumvit to nontaburi with all the office workers at 6am.

Now I have seen the light, I go to bed at around 10pm. I feel SO much much better not drinking and staying out late trying to be a teenager again.

Meditation is best at 4-5am. A great way to start the day! Followed by a morning jog, then turn on the internet at around 6.30.

It sounds like heaven, the only problem is i don't have a choice! Work :o

I go to bed when i feel like it. On school nights then in bed no later than 12. Though its usually by 11. On the weekend. Well that depends when i get home and pass out. If i dont go out then its when ever i feel like it. The missus is generally an early sleeper. So i have turn the Tv down or the Pc not to wake her.

I usually hit the sack around 22:00-22:30 and get up at 05:30. :D

If I have any less than 6 hours sleep/night over 3-4 nights I get grumpy. :o

Taoism: shit happens

Catholicism: if shit happens, you deserve it

Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us?

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

Mostly late evenings or early mornings hence I look and feel like this when one gets up :D :-

Didn't see a lot of "shooting through the pack" from MS.

My plan for the race was to head down the pub at 09:30. Break a habit (dry before midday) and have a few beers watching the race. Then head home for a siesta in the afternoon.

Unfortunately my plan went t1ts up when Betty and Mrs Betty arrived at 12:30 and decided we ought to make an afternoon of it. Then an evening.

  • 2 years later...

I went to bed last night at 7:30 pm... and i got up at 4 AM, but i have a bit of "jet-lag". Hope that helps...

Leave it to Weho to resurrect a 2 year old thread :o

Leave it to Weho to resurrect a 2 year old thread :o

I don't know... I just look for what's interesting, and I reply to those... is that so wrong? Just become someone posts a new thread doesn't make it interesting... but I would like to compliment you on noticing the date of the original thread... you have a sharp eye!

... and I like that...

I would add that since I still have some "jet-lag", I fell asleep today at 12:30 pm, and woke up at 2:30 pm...

Oh, I signed up for that Thai Visa party... I'm really excited about going... I should be there with my current "life partner"...

I should be there with my current "life partner"...

Well i suppose it would be difficult to leave your palm at home :o
