Next month we are driving down to Phuket (not for golf as it is vastly overpriced there) and are breaking our journey by staying at Novotel Chumphon. They have a 9 hole course there called ‘The Beach’ ..anyone played it?..what is it like?..if ok then we might take our clubs….As happens here it’s 300baht for 18 holes this month and 1000Baht next month!!.....thanks

I have also stayed there. I am not a golfer, but I walked the course and it looks very nice, bring your clubs for sure.

It is a great hotel by the way.
