Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Just making sure i've got this right.

I bought a single entry tourist visa at the Thai consulate in London over a month ago, I wasn't 100% sure when I flying but was confident in would be February, this is the information I gave on my form. Now it is March will my visa still be valid? I am thinking it is valid for 3 months after issue.

Your visa is valid for 3months from the day of issue and will expire if not used in that time.

However, it should entitle you to 60 days in Thailand from the day you land plus the option to extend for another 30 days at an Immigration Office - give the RTE a call and check though.

Have a great trip too :o

Thanks Peterzxr, I'm sure I will, hard not too really. I normally find all I have to do is smile (that happens when the plane takes off) and Thailand will take care of the rest. Chock dee ma khrub

All you need to do is look at the date (use before or valid until) on the visa and arrive before that date to receive a 60 day stay stamp that can normally be extended for 30 days. After that date you would not be allowed to use it to entry Thailand.

"over a month ago"? In 1999? :o
