Hi all,

I want to open a Bank Account in Samui. Im a german citizen with a 1 year Non Immigrant -O- Visa. I dont have a work permit. What are my best options here? Any reccomendations? Is it possible to open an account here in another currency than TBaht? What documents other than my passport do I need? Thanx for the help in advance.

it's a right for everyone to have a bank account but the banks have the right to refuse you for any reason.

kasikorn does never refuse people, while you're there, ask for online access to your bank account.
