Bag Snatcher Got More Than He Bargained For

Featured Replies

The Pattaya Police Department were recently informed that a teenager had snatched

Bag snatcher got more than he bargained for, a bag from a resident in front of Jomtien Nivate Village, Thappraya Road, and was being chased by onlookers.

The police received the report that the robber, riding his black Honda Wave motorcycle, was heading towards Pattaya Third Road. They quickly set up a road block, which caused the young man to crash, and attempt a further escape on foot. But to no avail, local residents quickly caught up with him, and before the police could stop them, they gave the young man a good beating, no doubt to teach him the error of his ways. He received some nasty injuries.

The culprit was identified as 26 year old Wisanu Kongmanrue, who had only been released from prison two months ago, after conviction for bag snatching.

When caught he was found to be still in possession of the stolen bag, belonging to Miss Wilaiwan Thanuchatu, aged 34, which only contained her identification and some cosmetics, nothing of any value.

He quickly admitted his crime, probably so the police didn’t give him back to the lynch mob, and admitted that he had already performed a similar crime that day. However, on his first snatch, he lost his balance and dropped the belongings all over the road; he decided that he would probably have better luck this time.

At the police station it was discovered that he did not own the motorcycle, it had previously been stolen, and police will make further enquiries before adding additional charges to his crime sheet.

As much as i have reservations about Vigilantism this is a good story and shows there is some justice in the world . The poor loser is probably safer back in prison.

This guy seems to be a real loser. Doesn't do much of anything very well.

Bit old for a teenager!

Doesn't seem to have learned his lesson.... maybe needs a longer vacation in jail this time :)

This used to be quite common, a few years ago a drunk ran down a child in bkk and the mob kicked him to death ,. :)
