Tattoos

Tattoos on women seem to be more popular, and more main stream, possibly due to the amount of celebrities that have them.

And, using the pic above as an example, I think Ms Jolie is one of the most beautiful women around today and regarding her tattoos, I actually think it adds to her beauty, rather than take it away. I think they suit her well and reflect her personality. But, ive been a big fan of Ms Jolie since her early movies (so im a bit biased). However, I personally dont think many women could pull this many tattoos off and still look elegant.

Still, some people view tattoos on women as "tramp stamps", or that only "loose" women or whatever, would get a tattoo. Some are uncomfortable with the idea of a woman having a tattoo but yet dont see it as a problem on men.

So whats your take? What do you think when you see a women with tattoos? Sexy? Negative connotations? Depends on what it is and where?

Hmm? :)

Ms Jolie could turn up on my door step wearing only sackcloth and ashes and I wouldn't turn her away :)

However tattoos are not my favourite adornment, but again it depends on where they are, if it is a dotted line across the neck saying 'cut here' or a spiders web on the face, I would suggest rather crass, but a simple adornment easily covered by clothing, I would also suggest, what ever floats your boat.

I agree they do look rather sensual on Jolie :D

Tattooed wimmin, yeah, my imagination runs wild.

Just think summun like Pammy, huge boob implants.

Lotsa tatts all over.

.....at 65 years, skinny, wrinkled and monster boobs...... PMPL

NOT for my wifey, noway.

Ah..but pete..technology today can remove the tats if they are no longer wanted. I think its great that we can adorn the body and know that later on in life if you feel they are no longer suitable you can choose to remove them.

Pammy can choose to have her other "adornments" removed also :)

Do they come off?

I reckon those Khmer tats would take more than a light coating of Vim and a rub with a nail brush to shift them.

I personally think it makes them look cheap. It's not a given that the tats can be removed either. Laser removal is probably the most effective option but it'd sting like h3ll I'd imagine and probably also blister the skin. It'd also be expensive (very expensive if large after many sessions) and there'd be no guarantee of success.

Give me a nice, clean tat-free Miss Alba any day :)

Before tatoos went "up market" you had to go down to the watefront to get it done. I've been drunk in some of the seediest waterfronts of all the world and never came back with a tattoo. For that I'm grateful.

I don't like them and think they mar the appearance of both men and women. Just my opinion.

As far as women go, I find the most beautiful have some kinfd of natural cosmetic imperfection which makes them appear all the more beautiful. I've never seen a tattoo do that for anyone.

ipI is an easy gentIe way to remove tattoos. Its actuaIIy a pretty simpIe process and its done over a period of time, fading on each treatment. The amount of times its done depends on the tattoo.

Interesting thread. I just don't like them - tattoos that is. I have seldom seen one that I thought looks good.

Remember that silly girl in Belgium who got all those stars on her face!!!!

Tattoos to me

are taboos

I still agree, The Dark Angei is fab.

Ya a gorgeous piece of femininity, Jessica.

You got me there, although at least they're discreet and don't detract from her beauty :)

eek, could you post a pic of Ms Jolie's front side? Just for academic reasons of course.

Most people with tattoos couldn't care less what others think of them having tattoos. It is a personal choice, next time you chose to style or cut your hair for example, think about a total stranger who may have an opinion on it, do you care enough to change?

I was just personally curious about others perspective.

I have 4 tattoos and i love them all. :)

PS i do have one myself, thats tatatoo and not bargirl

Guys, I think you already have a couple of "sad old perv" threads going in here. Mind if you keep this one free? ....

While I don't like tattoos I can see why you or others might. As Boo says it's a personal thing. I think they've become the equivalent of the modern day charm bracelet for women. Many seem to use tattoos to commemorate meaningful events in their lives.

I have a nephew, age 20. While still in high school 4 close friends of his were killed in an automobile accident. He wants to cover his foream with somekind of memorial tattoo to his dead friends. I understand his thinking in wanting to keep alive the memory of his lost friends but were I in his shoes I wouldn't be using a tatoo for that purpose. To each their own.

post-31633-1255073892_thumb.jpg Story Link: Here.

In the intrests of personal freedom I am happy that sane and sober adults can choose to do what they want with their bodies, however I also reserve my personal freedom to hold the point of view that I have not seen one that is an item of beauty, more a curiosity or interesting image.

Likewise with the following personal choices.

There she is!! The silly Belgian girl who said she had been drugged etc.!!

Moi, I have no tatoos but am thinking about it...

Ah now Patsy, I DO have the right man for you for that job :)

Thinking about getting another one myself Patsy. Something that reflects my time in Thailand. Most likely a Sak Yant tattoo.

Initially I found the picture erotic. Then I found I disliked the drawings and on discovering that she's only half finished, I decided it was all too much.

The work around the upper thigh and buttock floats my boat though. :) Now I'm shocked. Nicely.

Regards.
