I belive 2006 auto 3,0 was sold with 2 or 3 different engines. The old 120 hp, the first commonrail and VGS commonrail with intercooler on top of engine. The last engine is detuned when sold with auto, cause the auto box cant handle the high tourque.

I am lucky to get 10, but I do drive a bit fast

Dave(with VGS auto)

I have a 4 year old Dmax with the 3.0 liter motor and auto trans. Use B5 diesel most of the time. Just had my 40k checkup and my average k/lit is 13.4. I have gotten as good as 14.5 and as low as 11.5

So far no problems except for the usual flat tires and battery failure once.

5 year old with 120,000 kilometer on clock. 10/liter in town 12+/liter on highway.

still good compared to my Ford Excursion V10 at 3,3km/litre :)

I have a 5 year old 4WD Auto Colorado with 96,000km on the clock... tend to be getting around 9-9.5km/litre right now... the truck's also for sale if you're interested! :)

Mine has just developed a problem. Its 2005 same same above but drive a few kilometers and the power drops lucky to get 10 k and hour. A light comes on the dash (Yellow) however its not doing this all the time. I suspect an electrical prob ...anyone got any ideas?

There are 2 different 3.0L Auto Colorado in tents near me both are 2006. one has 106,000km on the clock the other 139,000, both have ABS, Airbags, Cd/Radio, both appear in top condition, 315,000 baht and 330,000 baht.

Seams a good deal as the sister pickup cost 100,000+ baht more... even a 2002 D-Max Auto cost more than a 2006 Auto Colorado...

OK a Auto Colorado will drop a bit more over say the next 4 years....... So the Auto D-Max dropped about 50 - 60,000 from 2002 - 2006, so if the Auto Colorado dropped 100,000 in the next 4 years, 25,000 baht a year depreciation still appear good.

Maybe will re think as the one I was looking at was the 2005 D-Max SLX 3.0L Auto Space Cab @ 389,000 baht with 178,000km on the clock..

secondhand I would go for Chevy. Looooow price and same truck. Like the front design better too

But be aware, some ha still have the old 120hp sold new in 2006 but manufactored in 2004 and 2005.

Ignis, are those 2006 Colorado's 4-door and 4WD? If so, they look like great deals.

Although 139,000 km on a 3 year old truck is quite a lot...

Mine is a 2003 3.0 Di Turbo, 4 door, 2 wheel drive, auto. When I bought the car I would get around 7.5 to 8.5Km/l.

Not sure when the intercooler was introduced on the D-Max, mine didn't come with one.

But after I installed an aftermarket intercooler, my mileage went up to about 10 Km/l.

No there 2WD and the Extended Cab

The last D-Max 2004 - 2008 covered 398,000km

So far the 2008 Gold Series has just under 100,000km

Anyway the Auto will be a 2nd vehicle and will cover something like 10,000km a year

Hi 'begs',

to get some help you must help others understand your problem so a better diagnose can be made.

first of all: information about your vehicle (engine type/auto or manual)

second: which light comes on? because there are several lights.(can you identify the picture on the light when it comes on?)

power drops: do you mean you can't get even 10km/hr speed?

waiting for your reply, maybe can help..... :)
