October 8, 200916 yr I read the sonic has the same engine as the CBR125 sold in the UK. Is this true? Besides the motor, what are the main the differences between the UK CBR 125 and the CBR150 sold in Thailand?
October 8, 200916 yr The headlight on the UK one is a real headlight to conform to EU rules (it also looks better). The main difference between the UK cbr125 and the Thai cbr150 is the UK one is FI with a 2 valve head and the 150 is 4 valve and carbed ( the 125 sonic is 2 valve and carb). Oh also the Uk bike has an o-ring chain as standard.
October 8, 200916 yr Author So the two CBR versions are basically the same frame, fairing etc? Would a sonic engine fit in a UK CBR or would the FI gear make it incompatible. I would guess the CBR 125 is made in Thailand?
