Pattaya, October 12 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : Over the weekend at Pattaya Police Station, Police Major General Tanaert, the Provincial Police Commander held a press conference to announce two cases, one from Sattahip Police Station and the other from Pattaya. The Sattahip Police case involved the arrest of 5 young men in connection with a motorbike theft ring. However the more serious case resulted in the arrest of Khun Suwit aged 44 who was a long-term target for the Pattaya Undercover Police Unit who were aware that he was suspected of being a major drug dealer in the area. He was arrested in front of Soi Potisan on the Sukumvit Road as part of an undercover operation and was found to be carrying 401g of Crystal Methamphetamine with a street value of 1.4 Million Baht. The General also announced that between 7th and 23rd October Chonburi Provincial Police will be running intense drug suppression operations to rid the Province of major drug dealers, including here in Pattaya.
