Chaing Khan , Loei Area

Does anyone live near this area? My wife hails from Chaing Khan and we venture there 2 times a year. Would like to meet locals for friendship and share information and posible golf outings ,tennis. would like more information about area ,things to do ,see , good hangouts ,eats. Stuff like that. could also brings thangs over from farangland for them. thanks for any replys.

Define near---

we are halfway between Udon Thani and Nong Bua Lampu--120 km to Loei- no big problem for me . I like motorbike riding and we are out there towards the mountains all the time.
