Yet it was the US that threw the first punch in Yemen.

Sept. 17, 2008, US Embassy car bomb attack.

Oct. 6, 2002, Limburg (French) oil tanker attack.

June 2001, Failed US Embassy attack.

October 12, 2000, Attack on USS Cole.

I couldn't find where the US "threw the first punch in Yemen" before Oct 2000. Maybe someone else can.

Most do not know the history that the govt/CIA had with folks like Saddam or Bin Laden back when they were useful.

Even less know that FDR armed Joseph Stalin & the USSR to the teeth when they were useful.

It's not uncommon for something to happen between friends that makes them no longer friends. Countries are no different.

Flying, do you recall Sibel Edmonds (or maybe Edmunds)? Some of her story showed that the US was actively supplying Pakistan with weapons, including parts and technology for developing their nuke. The rationale at the time was so Pakistan would help Afghanistan to fight the Russians. Just like Bin Laden.

You are right, of course....the US is in Afghanistan for the same reasons Russia was.

Also in the 80's, (and probably still today) the US was also supplying Turkey as Turkey had a relationship with Israel. Regardless of Turkey's action in Cypres, and regardless of Turkey's treatment of the Kurds.

To the US, race and politics matter when it come to protecting human rights...some races do not get help, as in Palestine the US has no interest to protect their human rights.

"The undie-bomber is a very good example of how a US action results in a reaction."

that goes without saying. chicken little law makers will issue immediately instructions to poke the (_._)holes and other cavities of all travellers to the U.S. and check the harddrives of their laptops for any detailed plans to poison the waterworks of Little Rock, Arkansas and Birmingham, Alabama.

travellers are advised not to wear undies and leave their laptops behind. FAUX News will soon report that these actions have lowered the terrorism threshold from dark red to a medium semi light violet with occasional red spots but that the national guards and "defense" forces of the 51 states remain on battle stations.

Alex! i see you are online. when will you jump in and support my reasoning? :)

You are right, I suspect.

I also suspect that a certain village idiot does not get your humourous "FAUX News" reference....He thinks you are referring to an actual station called FAUX.

It's Fox, Idiot.

huh......whassss?

One moment please, I will be back quickly....

:D

I do not remember that incident but,

Yes I remember her because she got fired from the FBI for speaking up about some kind of cover ups.

Of course she never did get to trial. Same reasons cited as when folks try to find out where the FED spent our TARP dollars.

You know secrecy to protect etc etc etc :)

I do remember one thing about Turkey though & that was they were a very reluctant back after 9-11

I remember they were not happy about the US basing there before invading Iraq & Afghanistan.

Wish they had stood their ground on that one.

Too Tong

Classic eh? Probably more interested in checking if $$$ are leaving the country :):D

But not too worry the increase in TSA Mexican airport cavity search workers will probably cost the tax payers no more than an additional 30 billion or so :D

That would be quite the horse of a different color

For FDR to help Russia in the hopes they could help conquer a formidably armed Nazi Germany is quite different. When that temp alliance/agreement was done you would not as you say claim a friendship between them ....Yet FDR did not then try to hunt down & kill Stalin nor did they ravage the USSR while trying to do so.

There is quite a difference in no longer being friends & trying to destroy an ex & their country when the friendship or in this case...usefulness goes stale.

PS: As an aside ... funny too that if not for FDR's meddling Hitler & Mussolini might not have declared war shortly after on the US. Of course at the same time Pearl Harbour came so it may have been a moot point but still.....Hitler & Mussolini did not declare war on the US till FDR's man Hopkins had his meeting in the USSR

I think they did stand their ground, didn't they? The US 4th Cavalry Regiment was supposed to come down into Iraq from the north via Turkey but the Turks nixed that idea.

You know thinking about it I could be wrong. I think actually it was denied & all they allowed was some refuelling or??

But did in fact dis-allow basing there for invasion of Iraq.

A bit outside of the box but let's try.......

If the US is allowed to bomb villages and as a result some collateral damage is been done in search of/trying to kill one or more wanted ragheads in retaliation of the 9/11 attacks, then why are Kohee and ChuckD so upset about a few Arabs (trained in the US) destroying a few buildings where there was some collateral damage in retaliation of some of the (terrorist) act's committed by the US around the world before 9/11?

Note: I do not agree with killing any people just trying to see it from another perspective.

:)

The US, UK, and Israel (yes, even Israel) go to great lengths to minimalize collateral damage and killing civilians. I know you probably find that hard to believe, but it's true.

The Taliban, al Qaeda and other terrorists specifically target civilians. The more they kill, the better.

Once again I ask you if you have looked at the YT video link I provided previously.

The massacre of Fallujah and the docu The war on democracy.

:)

Guess what dork? You're on my ignored list, so anything you write, I can't read.

Have your last word. Go on...say more. Go on.

wasn't tha the name used for all the smart kids with pocket protectors?

Are you, too, in desperation, resorting to picking on words or spelling? Tut tut. The pocket protector guys are nerds or geeks, surely? .....before you cast the first stone, you should ensure your own use of words is faultless.

"Dork" may have a different meaning where I come from, although I suspect not...you have just got it wrong.

"Dork" is a much milder term of rebuke than was deserved. I may have to use "idiot" and "dork" on you ChuckD if you want to continue acting like one, which up until now you have not.

i have to say tha a bit of banter can be fun but your constant name calling makes me think you must have been the school yard bitch that people like me used for our pleasure.

Guy's can we please stop the childish things?

We are all grown up people so please behave like that.

Here is the place to discuss and debate different views and ideas from different people without resorting to name calling and flaming..

Anyway here an article which shows the US is talking with so called "Terrorists"

Do you mind posting the link again? There's a lot of shit on here to scroll through. :D

fatal error Flying, reboot system! the axis Berlin-Tokyo made it mandatory that Germany declared war on the U.S. after Pearl Harbour and the official U.S./Japan war declarations. don't know about Italy though but think the case was the same.

same sh*t happened when Germany compelled to go to war in 1914 because of the alliance with Austria.

No problem Kohee.

Here it is but again I warn you these images are not for the people with a weak stomach.

27 minutes only, please tell what you think of it.

Watched it. There's some horrible stuff there to be sure. Horrible, but nothing worse than the burned, mutilated bodies hanging from the bridge in Fallujah.

This site has a little series called "The Lies of Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre, Part 3". I spent 27 minutes watching the film, you can at least give this a read through.

Not trying to be a smartass here so please here me out. THIS is the way we should point out little errors to each other. Not calling it "bullshit" and such like with my bit about the American ambassador in Afghanistan. I understand that you two are more or less "allies" and all of us treat our allies with more respect than the dumbass who doesn't agree with us. Whoops! That slipped out. I meant, the other guy who doesn't agree with us. :) Alex made a nice plea to stop being childish and I've called a truce with just about everybody. Since there's only a handful of us here we should be able to remain civil to each other even though we disagree on most things. No, this is not some New Years Resolution. I hate that crap.

Could be & is why I said that about Pearl Harbour.

But I remember reading that about Hopkins & the timing of it so always thought it didn't help.

But as you say with the axis it was moot.

Last year I was shocked to learn I couldn't call one of those Homeland Security bastards a "fuc_king idiot". A seasoned traveller from India, in line behind me said "you can't say that, they could arrest you". I can't call this fuc_king idiot a fuc_king idiot says I? Nope says the Indian fellow as the fuc_king idiot donned his blue rubber gloves to frisk me like I was a biological speciman. Yeah, I'd shoot those guys too, even before the bankers.

There are numerous posts on many sites about the TSA & their power trips.

If you give the slightest complaint you can & usually will be detained to the point of missing your flight.

They can go as far as to deny you your flight & even put you on *the list* for being disruptive etc.

What is scary is if you have dealt with them you know the obvious education level or lack there of.

They are non-local to the area they work &are moved on rotation.

PS: ever see the story about Ron Pauls campaign guy & what he went through?

Banter can be fun.

Since you are an American hawk, I can well believe that you took pleasure raping young boys. I'm a bit suprised that you confess your perversion though.

You would have fit in quite well on the staff at Abu Graib.

BTW, have a look back at the multiple times I was called something before I responded in kind to that dork.

As with ChuckD and yourself.....I am not the one to throw the first punch. But if it's banter you want, it's banter you'll get.

Everyone heard you the first time.

You seem to be the one holdout here in favor of name calling and bad board behavior. I've done my share of it but am at least making an honest go of stopping. Up to you whether you stop or not.

"Chuckie" doesn't quite agree with the innocent disclaimer.

Makes me no difference at this point. I have managed to survive over 70 years without the rancor that is produced by the old boys club here.

I'll shoot for another 70 by simply signing off, although I will probably still drop in every now and then to read some of this forum.

Happy New Year to all, and to all a goodnight. :)
