After a Police Investigation, Pattaya Officers recently raided a room at Pattaya Tower

Beach Apartments, on Pattaya Beach Road Soi 4, and detained Mr. Nicolas Johannes Molenaar, aged 52, from the Netherlands, on suspicion of drugs dealing.

Upon searching the room police officers discovered two packs of Yaba tablets, one of 13 tablets the other with 20, together with a 7.65 Baretta handgun and 42 bullets found on top of the bed. The foreigner was taken to the police station for further questioning and charging.

Despite extensive interviews, the suspect refused to divulge any information on where he purchased the drugs or the gun, and stated that he had been working on his own, nobody else was involved, and as he was guilty, he was ready to be charged.

Police do not believe his story and will try other means of investigation to find the identities of his accomplices.
