Pattaya, November 19 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : In the early hours of Thursday Morning, Pattaya Police were called to the Mike Hotel in South Pattaya following reports from Hotel Staff of a Russian Tourist who was causing a disturbance in the front lobby. Police arrived and attempted to communicate with the 35 year old Russian who was either unwilling or unable to give his name to officers. He was acting in a manner which suggested he may have been under the influence of narcotics and it was confirmed by Hotel Staff that he was not a guest at the Mike Hotel. Police removed the man from the Hotel and took him to Pattaya Police Station and detained him for a short time, for his own safety, until the effects of whatever he had been given or had taken had worn-off.

Agreed. How do they know he was Russian? Could have been from the Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia etc. And again, what about his age? Kind of sounds like the guy has been suckered into going to a hotel and parting with a volume of baht, in return for a disappearing act, and rightly he's upset. Don't you just love the Pattaya forum??? Makes Phuket seem like paradise!
