Sceadugenga Dominates Bedlam

Featured Replies

At 8am my name was up on the first seven topics.

This was due to drinking a can of diet Coke before I went to bed, necessitating an early arising.

Unless some busybody gets in first this will make it 8 out of 8.

Is this the record?

The challenge is there people...the gauntlet has been laid.

Actually, I've discovered that Bedlam is the most practical forum on thaivisa. You can post just about anything within reason without having someone ask "How is this Thai related?". Many subjects are WORLD WIDE related and shouldn't be dumped off the General forum just because they are not SPECIFIC to Thailand.

I think in the past the likes of Kayo and Suegha have easily surpassed that record Sceadugenga.

These masters of the one liners and emoticons have utilised their different time zones to stamp their mark on many threads at once.

:)

It's definitely geospecific. Time zones and all that. Of course people have different waking hours, so there is no guaruntee of any particular time of quiet......but there are certainly peak times.

This is your second thread about dominance recently........

:)

Is this something to be proud of???

Those that can, do.

Those that can't, scoff.

Well let me put down my toys and come see if I can change this. Then again, no. Dominate away.

Yeah. :D:)

Has been.

It's a different ball game now, true talent is required to excel.

Bangkok Jimmy has given up already.

Check the posts as well, all quality. :D

I've probably got enough photos on my various galleries to post a picture appropriate to ANY topic. :):D

Unfortunately, it takes time, and I'm not ALWAYS wasting time on forums.

It's been a long term goal of mine to file my photos in a program where they're easily found by keyword searches. And, they have to be easily filed, I'm lazy.

I spent ages searching for my own pics of the Chiang Rai clocktower the other day then ended up pinching one off the 'net. (And it had a lean on it).

Yeah. :D

The years 2004-2005 were my prime (so far). Thanks OC for your kind words :D

Tigs, do you remember the stalking times of Soph, Red, Rob, you, and anybody else who used to prowl the corridors of Bedders. OC was always there too, though he limited his outpost of useless posts (or, as OC quite flatteringly calls them "one liners and emoticons " )

Yeah, right.

And the Virgin Diana wasn't Jesus momma, right?

Like, duh... whatever!

:D

Oooh.. I've lost it....

Yep, Bedders was more fun then. I used to love it when someone was on a posting frenzy, it was like playing tennis chasing each other all over tv.

As I write, Neverdie stands at posts in 13 consecutive threads....and I suspect that may have been 14 or more a few hours ago.

whats the meaning behind Sceadugenga? :)

The Sceadugengan (Singular: Sceadugenga), or "shadow-goer", are fantastical beasts which are neither living nor dead, and which can shape-shift. They dwell in the forests of England. The first element of the name is from Old English sceaduwe (shadow)[1] and the second elements is likely to be from Old English gong (a going or journey) [2] or Old English gan (to go)[3].

The Sceadugenga are mentioned in Beowulf and form part of a sub plot in The Saxon Stories series by Bernard Cornwell.

If all this is true then why do you have an avatar of a submissive albeit rather cuddly puppy? Shouldn't you be al ittle more scary?

I had the Tuco gunfighter from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" for a long time.

The idea of the little doggy, he came in an email with a heading along the lines "if I practice this look for long enough I should be able to get away with whatever I like".

At the time of his adoption I was being picked on by people who's position in the forum was too exalted for me to retaliate without serious repercussions.

I might dust Tuco off again, I think he's in retirement on my other laptop.
