Perfect Place Ramkhamhaeng sounds as if it meets all your needs.

Schools close by, and easy access to the outer ring road to Chonburi.

Should be able to rent a place out there for about 40,000 per month.

I think the moo baan is on Ram 164, trogers knows these things better than me.

Thanks for the complement...lol.

I am familiar with this area as I have been staying at Pravet and venture to Bangna area for 15 years. And my mother-in-law stays in moobaan sahakorn at Sukaphiban 2... :)

Will hubby be paid in BHT or dollars?

Uhm what will the difference be?? When they negotiated he was made an "offer" in US$, but his work contract states he will receive XXXXBHT per month. It all works out the same, but i suppose all depends on the exchange rate??

Anybody have ideas on what the difference would be if he was paid in BHT than when he was paid in US$????

Thanks

Fluctuations of exchange rates Bt - US$ - A$. But In real terms, the impact is the movement between Bt and A$.

If a substantial portion of his income is to be saved every month, he can mitigate some risk by converting it to A$ and sending it to his bank account in Aust. He can do this only if he is employed with a work permit and income taxes properly declared and deducted monthly. The portion covering living expenses in Thailand faces no risk except inflation.

ive lived there for almost 2 years, my lungs are fine :-) the townhouse is in Bangphli Yai, nearby is the american school of bangkok(untill grade 12) 5 minutes away, 20 min drive to airport ,1 km to bangnatrad road(leads to everywhere), a walk away from Big C en Home Pro and 2 km from Jularat 3 hospital ,ive had the privilige of a car and always drove everywhere in bkk, easy to learn and live there ,also nearby market so cheaperand fresher food then supermarket, this house will not be so high price like these ridiclous prices u always see

about ur monthly food etc. its really up to you if u live in a place like above you will eat and buy everything cheaper ,if u live normal 10.000 baht a month should do it and renting a townhouse for 10.000 baht(not included electricity and water-but thats cheap) ,for example
