Such Being The Time Zone...

Featured Replies

As being amongst the first TV members to have entered into December 25th, time zones being what they are......and the clock just ticking over midnight...it's now Xmas day.

Yuletide felicitations everyone! Happy holiday.

Good on you mate.

Happy crimble to one and all.

Still 5 1/2hours to go in the land of smiles.

Party raging at Baan sceadugenga, just handed out chocolates to all the kids.

Lots of Thai food being cooked outside on three open fires and at least one card game under way.

So all the best and Christmas wishes

From sceadugenga and the Mrs.

Most years I celibrate Christmas very quietly with just one or two friends, but this year I've been invited to a big party tomorrow afternoon that I'm looking forward to. I'll be the unofficial designated photographer. I've been promised lots of food and beverage and I know the hostesses wife has LOTS of pretty lady friends... so I'll be right in my element. :):D

Hostesses wife? Lesbian couple are they? Cool. But wouldn't her friends also be so inclined?

And watch out for an angry WinterBoy, :)

Well, I'm at work, as I am most years.

Always make sure I write a couple of nasty contractual letters to contractors that have annoyed me through the year.

But I have just had a lunch of quail and pureed vegetables, together with a coffee yule-log. And shared it with a beautiful girl.

So not too bad, all-in-all.

I' in Saudi. the wife and little jangles are 4 hours in front in Thailand. The family back in the UK are 3 hours behind. And I'm just off to a xmas dinner with friends who think I am lonely. Nice to have friends like that but I'd have been happy to just chill and have a pint later on. Can't even get Pigs in blankets here :D

Have a good one all. :)

I have just eaten a pig in a blanket, lovely......If that helps :)

I had to look them up. I'd rate them with other healthy traditional English dishes like fried bread and bread and dripping.

They're at 1 oclock on the plate. (I think).

My first thought was to say I hope you fekkin choke on them. But as it's the season of good will and all that... I really hope you enjoyed them :D

And I really need an "envy" emoticon right now !

I don't know about any other Brits on here but i have never had bread and dripping in my chuff, so it can't really be traditional.

Yep, they're the ones scea :)

Bread and dripping, with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. MMmmm.

The party at Dave's was a spendid success and everyone went home stuffed and a bit inebriated. I had to lay off too much of the sauce because I was riding my bike in Thai traffic. As it was I got hit by a woman turning left into me with no signal. Thankfully I was stopped and it didn't cause any damage. I ended the evening with two of my favourite ladies and had to sleep in until 10 AM to recover.

When I were a lad we used to have toast and dripping (with buckets of salt on just to make it even healthier) every Sunday afternoon for tea.

Yep same here. My Gran lived on beef dripping until she died well into her nineties. Perhaps cholesterol only gets to you of you've read about it ?

It would be hard to beat our Christmas supper at Dave and Sai's place. Lots of turkey, lamb, pork and veggies, plus any amount of Thai food. And, a liberal dosage of spirits.

And, lots of lovely company as well..

Pretty nice selection there, Mig16. :D

I wonder how many of those parrot feathers would be good for fly tying. :)

At least there was still room for a beer huggie at this table... :)

Certainly NOT an antipodean dinner........LOL

I have been really accepted into her family.

Just gotta make sure I book my plane seats for next Chrissie.

Great family, even greater now I have joined........LOL
