Avatar And Kids

Featured Replies

Been here for years but never been to a cinema here

Been told Avatar is OK for kids and want to take my daughter

So, what is the best cinema in bkk to take her to and what would be the best

seats to aim for

First time for both of us,

:)

Go for Avatar in 3D - you can check on website which cinema offers this (www.majorcineplex.com - but be patient, this site is CRAP!!! and takes long time to find what you want!!!)

I went to Central Rama III coz it's near my place, but if you want to go hi-so then Paragon is the option ...

It carries a PG-13 from MPAA but you decide whats best for you child.

I always enjoy SF Cinema at Emporium for movies.

My wife and I loved it but I do recommend getting tickets days in advance and trieing to be in the middle of the theater. We were on the sides and it did some times make me feel a little off or out of focus. As for kids it depends on each family. There is a lot of violence and many deaths scenes but it is not gory. Have fun and be safe this New Year Holiday.

There is a lot of violence and some of the main characters die in graphic 3D fashion. I wouldn't take a child under 12. Of course 10 year olds would love it, but its a bit too full on. It's really an adult animation rather than one for the kids.

Certainly not for kids under 13, no way

Thanks for all the help

looks like it's a vindaloo and a video for me

Shes only 5 so will have to find another film to take her to see

was looking forward to seeing it though

:)

I say Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs or the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. Avatar would defiantly fall into the Nightmare category for your kids. People impaled, arrows, guns. Not for the Wee-folk. Have a safe New Year.
