Im planning to get married in Bangkok when i arrive there next week and have just heard that the ministry of foreign affairs in Laksii do not offer an express service anymore.

Is this correct or not?

Im on a short trip and need to get it done as quickly as possible.

There is no Express service any more. If you give your stuff in on Monday you get it on Tuesday, not really long to wait.

Remember the affirmation to marry will also be a collect the next day thing, and translation is about 1 hour depending on

where you go.

All in all if you hand in the affirmation on Monday collect Tuesday, get translated, then take to MFA, collect on Wednesday, get married on Wednesday afternoon.

This assumes all is correct and that there is not much traffic on the road from the Embassy to MFA.
