Featured Replies

On Thursday Morning at Mike Shopping Mall in South Pattaya, a contract signing ceremony took place to confirm a loan agreement made between the Kasikornbank and Khun Surat, the Managing Director of the Mike Group of Companies who are planning to construct a new resort located in the Wongamart area in Naklua. The new resort called “Cape dara, The Stars Hotel & Resort” will cost just over 1 Billion Baht to construct and will consist of 272 deluxe rooms including a penthouse with panoramic views of the beach. There will also be two high class restaurants and conference facilities.

I wonder if all those high end resorts are being built for those Chinese and Indian tourists that are targeted by TAT.

I think so. I visited that theme hotel Centana/Centara and there were tons of Chinese and Thai folks running around having a great time. But... I did see one low class acting person there. She was clipping her fingernails while sitting in the lobby. :) Some people. :D

...because Pattaya is currently lacking in these important "high end" facilities....

Wongamart is so underdeveloped, too.
