American-swede Retired Soldier Collapses And Dies Outside Central Pattaya Bar

Featured Replies

On Thursday Afternoon, Police and Rescue Services were called to Pattaya Third Road in front of the Bliss Lounge Bar and Restaurant located opposite Xzyte Discotheque following reports of a foreign man who had collapsed and died outside of the bar. Police arrived and inspected the body of Mr. Lars Vilhelm Lyngarth aged 50 who is thought to hold a Swedish and American passport. The man is known to be a retired member of the US Military and had come to the bar to see a friend when he complained of back pains and collapsed. He then fell to the floor and appeared to be having a heart attack. An ambulance was called to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead-at-the-scene. Police confirmed that the death did not appear suspicious in any way, although the exact cause of death will not be known until the results of a post mortem examination are received by Police.
