Ship 200 Kids Tshirts From Bobae To Germany!

Hello everybody!

I have to buy around 200 kids tshirts for a friend in germany at bobae tower and have to sent them to germany for him!

Has anybody done that and can tell me the easiest way to do it direct from there?

I mean 200 kids shirts aint that much,so maybe its even possible to send them by plane and its not so expensive!?

I did bigger things before by boat and using schenker cargo, but i am not sure if its worth the effort for such a small amount of shirts?

Any ideas would be appriciated!

kop khun mak khap!

FedEx and UPS used to have and probably still have a flat rate 25 kilo box. The rate used to be around 4,300 Baht to America so probably similar to Germany. If the box goes over 25 kilos the additional charge was not too bad. I'm not sure how many kids shirts you could stuff into this box but it would be worth looking into. You can probably have FedEx or UPS drop on of the boxes off at your place in Bangkok at no charge.

You might want to be a little careful.

Some years ago a friend in Germany asked me to produce some corporate polo shirts for his company.

We discovered that to ship garments to Germany from Thailand they have some quota system and only licensed companies are legally able to despatch consignments of garments.

This was something to do with the fear of copyright garments entering Germany and also cheap Chinese garments.

Now, I am not sure if this still applies?, but you might want to check it out with your friend in Germany or one of the courier companies here.
