Sukhumvit Hotel, Less Than 1,500 Baht With Car Park

Featured Replies

If you want cheap and reasonable try the Honey Hotel on Soi 19. Last time I was there it was 900 to 1200 Baht per night including breakfast and yes it has carparking and a pool.

Thanks guys,

I know all those places but it's a weekend in Bangkok with the wife and kid so want somewhere less 'in your face' with the bar scene.

Honey and Federal were places I used to stay in my single days and Ibis means negotiating past NEP to get in and out.

I was hoping some Bangkok resident might know some 'off the beaten soi places' close to their place.

I have stayed at Pathumwan House for many years. It is near MBK, and thus Paragon, Central World, Siam Center/Square, etc. Short walk to the skytrain. About 1000B per night. Clean, small kitchen included. Nice staff. It is where I stay when I don't want to be in the thick of things on Suk.

The All Seasons on Sathorn, almost next door to the Australian Embassy is less the 1,500 and has a small carpark.

Sounds promising but I don't konw that area at all.

Any restaurants / shops / park in walking distance?

oops...forgot about this one also. It is an older hotel, but has a pool, decent breakfast included, and good parking. It is on the same soi as Pathumwan house. Avoid the rooms in the front as they are fairly loud. I have stayed here many times and it is OK. Not sure about wifi, but Pathumwan has it and it was fairly decent last time I was there.
