I am having problems recieving certain channels on UBC. i.e CNN, CNBC, BBC ,HBO,and several others.

When I try to tune into these channels ,I get the onscreen message "this channel does not currently send a signal"

Also the channels I do receive are not on their usual numbers.

I am told by my dealer installer that UBC are doing maintenance work,and possibly adding new channels.

Is anybody experiencing similar problems?

ummm where have you been for the past week ?

Open the magazine and you will see all info regarding the new channel line-up and also 4 pages of trouble-shooting hints. The trouble-shooting notes are also on their website and very comprehensive. There is also a dedicated channel for trouble-shooting, just watch any of the other channels which are working and you will see an on screen streamer with the channel number.

If all of the above fails, please call 0-2725 2525 where you will be able to speak to an English speaking operator.

Follow the advice of "richard1808" and you'll be okay.

I would think twice about the quality of your dealer/installer though.

All channels were relocated on Tuesday .
