City Officials Remove Offending Shop Signs Along Soi Beokeow

Recommended Posts

Despite warnings to some business owners on Soi Beokeow to remove or modify signs which are less than 5 meters from the ground, in accordance with local regulations, many businesses have ignored the warning and for this reason, on Thursday Morning, we joined a group of City Technicians as they began to remove a number of signs in contravention of the regulations. There was no resistance from business owners as signs were removed and placed in front of the respective businesses, for them to either dispose of or to replace at the correct height. We understand that checks around the City will be taking place over the coming weeks to ensure that shop signs are not in breach of the regulations.

I see they came with a truck,is it possible that at the same time they remove those cones, chairs, garbage bins etc. which are place as not park in front of my shop.

If you put them on a piece of string and hang them less than 5 metres from the ground, they will take them, no problem!
