Omani Tourist Found Dead In South Pattaya Hotel Room

Featured Replies

In the early hours of Monday Morning, Pattaya’s Tourist Police were called to the Cherry Lodge Hotel in South Pattaya to investigate the dead of an Omani Tourist inside his room. Police Lieutenant Colonel Virawoot from Pattaya Police Station was contacted and documented the incident. Inside room number 210 was the body of Mr. Hamed Said Hamed Alabri aged 34. He was slumped over the edge of the bed and was fully clothed and appeared not to have suffered any visible injury. The only piece of evidence removed from the room was a bottle of drinking water which Police said, may contain something which was relevant to the case. The body was discovered by Khun Seesudar, a receptionist at the Hotel who explained that Mr. Alabri failed to emerge from his room as expected. She entered the room and found Mr. Alabri slumped over the side of the bed. For now, the exact cause of death is a mystery, however, nothing appeared to have been stolen from the room, therefore Police suspect he died of natural causes, but will wait for the results of a post mortem examination before they close the case.

Fair assumption, but he was a bit young to die. It's alarming just how many people die in Pattaya hotel rooms.

For a longer life. The answer is simple;

Avoid hotel rooms (and balconies)
