Judging by a reply I got on the forum earlier this year, the Porn Ping is guest-friendly (assuming you mean no problem or additional charge as a result of an overnight guest). Can't vouch for it first-hand......

If you do a search in the CM forum, you will come up with heaps. :D

Did not realize that any hotel in Chiang Mai was not guest friendly but having just departed PornPing today did notice a few pieces of eye candy at breakfast each day (which is very good for a hotel of this price range ((the food)) ).

The coffee shop did not seem to be operating but there is a late night disco in basement and a roof top bar/bbq.

suriwongse is guest friendly i was there during songkran.hoping to stay a month in december there,great hotel.i paid 1600baht at songkran.ps does anyone know what it will cost in december per night hoping 1200 at the most.thanks
