Traffic Police In Ayutthaya

Featured Replies

I had arrived to this city and rented a bike (by the way much expensive than in Pattaya 4500 a month, 250 a day).

I was driving about 4 hours and was 4 times stopped by traffic police. I stayed in Thailand about 8 months and it was the first time I showed my driving licence. Other 4 times i was passed- i think I was really lucky! So I am interested - is it the usuall thing for Ayutthaya to have so many traffic polices' check points?

You were wearing a RED shirt wern't you.

Had a house up there for 6 years now and yet to be stopped in town.

I was en route to the immigration office one day with my usual entourage and there was a check point just outside of town...the cop looked in and saw the falang then asked my BiL who was driving 'where ye headed?'...the BiL replied outta the corner of his mouth 'we're takin' 'em t'see the elephants...'

headed on down the road with whoops of uproarious laughter...
