Guest House Hua Hin

Featured Replies

My wife and I will be visiting Hua Hin later this year with my 25 yo son.

We have stayed at Thipurai Guesthouse some years ago and it was great but quite a walk to town.

Has anyone stayed at The Fat Cat guesthouse and if so what did you think of it.

Any ideas would be very wellcome. We were trying to find a guesthouse or apartment close to town without to much noise.

Thanks in advance.

I looked at the rooms in Fat Cat but did not stay there as the bathrooms were tiny and all the furniture very old and dated.

Plus side is nice view from balcony and good breakfast.

However rooms that size, quality are overpriced in my opinion, should be 400-500 Baht.

The hotel you talk of is very close ot town I have stayed there and it is a good bet,

We have stayed in a few other places all good, see below

Jed Pee Nong

City beach older hotel a bit tierd but good for money

This time when we go in april we will be staying at Prinz Garden Villa Service Apartment, states town looks good, not sure how far it really is from town, reviews very good

Hope this helps

Last year i stayed at the doghouse at 100/1 Poolsuk Road, Hua Hin 77110, Thailand it's in a nice quiet road 3 mins walk from the bars and has fan, a/c and wireless internet 450bt double bed. The owner is a nice English guy and his Thai wife. I had no probs they do ask for a 500bt deposit for the key which i used to settle my bill on the last day, nice clean guest house and they also have some more upmarket accommodation in their portfolio as i remember.
