St. Patrick was in fact Welsh and his surname was either Jones or Williams. Lets face it, there's not much of a choice. Captured and brought to Ireland as a slave, he soon found that slavery in Ireland was far better than freedom in Wales and decided to stay and apply for a settlement visa. Rumoured to have been good at singing but crap at rugby.
