Phuket Resident Tvers

Just wondering how many TVers are resident in Phuket. Doesn't seem to be too many of us. Just want to find out if it is worth having a TV p1ss-up / meet-up sometime in the future, or, whether there are too few of us to make it worthwhile.

The people that I do know (not personally) who live here are:-

Wolfie (when he's not in Belgium).

Don't know if I count, as I live in Phuket only about 3-4 months per year (this is changing - hope to move over full time next year, UK business permitting).

If I count, and you don't mind a fat Brit drunk pitching up, I'm in.

Hows about part timer res. I'm and O-A visa with all the extras and spend about 2 weeks every other month in Patong. I know I should have a condo or house for what I waster on a hotel but I love the Thara Patong and my poolside room etc.

I posted about a meeting but it went un answered..... I have my June and Aug dates.. If a piss hunt is on just post me and I'll go if I'm there!

BTW...I'm soon to drop by Cocktails and Dreams (the LB Bar in Soi Tiger) to sheer up those dancers. A round of shots and three HULA GIRL Grass Skirt outfits should make for a good show......Shall I save that one for the TV prowl?

I have a suggestion. The Phuket 10s is on 28-29 down at Karon Stadium. Does anyone fancy watching a bit and getting on the hit and miss a lot? I know some reasonable bars in Karon, but if someone knows any good ones, i'm in.

I am a Phuket resident. Let me know if you organise something but bear in mind that I have 4 kids and work full time so it may not be possible or easy for me. Let me know what you decide anyway.

Re the Phuket 10's... Over next weekend they will be celebrating in Valhalla and Dragon disco over the 2 days (food bevvy etc) Should be a good piss up in VH (was in there all of yesterday)...

Looks like people are keen. Guess the next thing to be decided is "when". After that, the "where" can be sorted out.

Fraid I'm offshore at the moment. Will be free all of July and the first week in August.

As someone who is tidying up loose ends with the idea of moving early next year, I would be interested in knowing what the hidden money traps you're finding are. One of the main reasons for moving there is to gain more spending power for the dollar (or pound). You post is worrying.

Whatever happens don't contemplate work!
